It was our absolute pleasure celebrating the end of the school year with Ryton Federation Nursery children and their families yesterday!
Ryton Federation has been one of our partnering schools for many years so they're familiar with our recipes and by special request, they chose our 'Cucumber Caterpillars', the perfect forest snack The children and their grown ups scooped out the inside of the cucumber before adding our all-time favourite slaw and giving our drum graters a whirl.
As well as cooking along with us they made flower crowns, flew kites, blew bubbles and and toasted marshmallows on the campfire. What a wonderful community and such a special way to mark the end of the year. Everyone was so complimentary and welcoming Thank you for having us and have a great summer!
